Yoga for Trauma
These personalized sessions offer a gentle, supportive space to reconnect with your body and mind through trauma-informed yoga. Designed to meet your unique needs, we’ll focus on mindful movement, breath work, and grounding techniques that promote emotional release, self-awareness, and healing. These sessions give the student the tools to take their power back and comfortably step back into their body in full confidence.

Yoga for Athletes
Mental & Emotional Health | Proper Preparation | Prevents Poor Performance
Grounding. Mindfulness. Breath work. Calming the Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) are all aspects of yoga. Tierra works with athletes to teach them breathing techniques to calm their sympathetic nervous system, stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, and recognize when they are experiencing changes within their bodies.
When your mental and emotional health is aligned, the physical body operates at its highest state. When there is no control over the mental & emotional body, there is a lack of control over the physical body. Your mental state controls your breath. Your breath drives the movement. How do you respond when you feel anxious?
During the game, tensions run high and stress is normal to onset. Tierra understands that athletes are required to perform at their highest and greatest ability, but how you prepare mentally for game day sets the tone for your overall performance just as much as the physical. Integrating a yoga program catering to athletes, specifically football players, will deter the risk of injury.
