Before Tierra was a yoga teacher, she was a federal law enforcement officer and Special Agent - spending years in high-pressure environments where showing up as a young Black woman meant constantly proving she belonged.
She found yoga in 2008. For 18 years she's been learning how to come back to her body, build a sustainable practice, and teach others to do the same.
In 10 years of teaching in the DMV, she's led international retreats, a multi-city tour, appeared on local news, built corporate wellness partnerships, and created multiple revenue streams - without selling out or burning out.
Off the MAT is everything she wishes she'd had when she was starting out. She's sharing all of it.
Questions
Before
you apply.
Plan for 2–3 hours per week. This includes your weekly lesson plan and Pulse prompt, the bi-weekly live call, and community engagement. On implementation weeks (no live call), you'll focus on applying the curriculum - which is where the real progress happens. VIP members add approximately one hour per month for 1:1 sessions.
Because learning something and actually implementing it are two different things - and most programs skip the second part. The weeks between calls are intentional. You'll have curriculum, prompts, and community to keep you moving, but space to actually practice what you're learning before the next call. Sustainable progress over information overload.
Standard gives you the full program - all curriculum, bi-weekly live calls, The Pulse, Business Toolkit, community, and replays. VIP adds direct access to Tierra: 4 private 1:1 strategy sessions, a personalized brand and business strategy plan, priority for teaching opportunities, and an exclusive in-person mentorship day invite.
No. This program is built for both new instructors finding their footing and seasoned professionals who've been stuck. What you do need is at least a year of teaching or wellness practice - enough that you know your craft and are ready to focus on building the business side.
All calls are recorded and saved to your shared Google Drive - so you'll always have the content. That said, showing up live is where the real growth happens. The hot seats, real-time coaching, and cohort energy can't be replicated in a replay. We strongly encourage live attendance whenever possible.
