This policy is provided at the time of registration and must be acknowledged before payment is processed. Submission of a deposit or full payment constitutes your agreement to all terms outlined herein. No exceptions will be made on the basis of not having read this policy.
1. Booking & Confirmation
Your spot is not confirmed until Tierra Briscoe Wellness receives your non-refundable deposit and your signed retreat waiver. Submitting payment without a signed waiver does not constitute a confirmed booking.
By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this policy in its entirety.
Tierra Briscoe Wellness begins incurring costs on your behalf at the time of booking. For this reason, your deposit and all subsequent payments are non-refundable from the moment they are received.
2. Payment Policy
All prices are listed in US Dollars.
Full payment is due by the date specified in your retreat-specific confirmation. Failure to pay by the due date may result in forfeiture of your spot without a refund of your deposit.
All deposits and retreat payments are NON-REFUNDABLE unless Tierra Briscoe Wellness cancels the retreat in full. This policy applies regardless of the reason for non-attendance, including but not limited to: personal emergencies, illness, visa issues, travel disruptions, family circumstances, or change of plans.
Chargeback Policy: By submitting payment, you expressly waive your right to initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal with your bank or credit card issuer for any payments made toward a sol RESET retreat. All payments are final. Any chargeback filed in violation of this policy will be actively disputed by Tierra Briscoe Wellness using your signed waiver, payment records, and all supporting documentation.
3. Cancellation by You
If you need to cancel your retreat booking, you must notify Tierra Briscoe Wellness in writing at tierra@yogitb.co and kaelyn@yogitb.co as soon as possible.
Written cancellation notice does not entitle you to a refund of any amount paid.
At Tierra Briscoe Wellness’s sole discretion, the following may be offered as a courtesy but are not guaranteed:
Transfer of your deposit toward a future sol RESET retreat (subject to availability).
Assistance in identifying a replacement guest (with your written approval).
No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the retreat once it has begun, including early departures for any reason.
If your reason for cancellation may be covered by travel insurance, you are encouraged to file a claim with your insurer directly.
4. Cancellation by Tierra Briscoe Wellness
Tierra Briscoe Wellness reserves the right to cancel a retreat if minimum enrollment thresholds are not met (generally 75% of capacity) 60 days before the retreat start date.
In the event of a full cancellation initiated by Tierra Briscoe Wellness, all guests will receive a full refund of payments made. This is the only scenario in which refunds are issued.
Tierra Briscoe Wellness is not liable for any additional costs incurred by guests (e.g., flights, accommodations) in the event of a cancellation. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for this reason.
5. Amendments to Retreat Programming
Tierra Briscoe Wellness reserves the right to adjust the retreat schedule, activities, facilitators, or arrangements as circumstances require. Changes will be communicated to registered guests as promptly as possible.
If your assigned room type requires a change, Tierra Briscoe Wellness will make every reasonable effort to provide a comparable alternative. This does not entitle a guest to a refund.
6. Travel & Documentation
You are solely responsible for arranging and funding your own travel, including flights, ground transportation, and any required travel documents (passport, visa, vaccinations, entry requirements, etc.).
Tierra Briscoe Wellness is not liable for missed flights, travel delays, cancellations, denied boarding, or any irregularities caused by your travel providers or documentation.
It is your responsibility to verify all entry requirements for the retreat destination country well in advance of travel.
7. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all sol RESET guests. At minimum, your policy should cover: trip cancellation, medical expenses and evacuation, retreat activity participation, and lost or damaged personal belongings.
Tierra Briscoe Wellness is not responsible for costs that could have been covered by travel insurance you chose not to purchase.
8. Health & Fitness
By registering for a sol RESET retreat, you confirm that you are in adequate physical, mental, and emotional condition to participate. You agree to disclose any health conditions, injuries, dietary restrictions, or limitations prior to your arrival.
Tierra Briscoe Wellness reserves the right to restrict participation in specific activities based on health disclosures, in the interest of participant safety.
Pregnant participants (12–28 weeks) must provide a physician’s letter confirming fitness to travel and participate prior to booking confirmation.
Tierra Briscoe Wellness is not liable for injuries sustained during retreat activities or for medical or psychiatric conditions that develop during or following the retreat.
9. Code of Conduct
sol RESET retreats are intentional spaces. All guests are expected to engage respectfully with fellow participants, facilitators, venue staff, and the surrounding community.
Tierra Briscoe Wellness maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, disrespect, or any behavior that compromises the safety or experience of other guests. Violations may result in immediate removal from the retreat with no refund and no obligation to cover resulting travel or accommodation expenses.
10. Personal Property
Guests are responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings at all times. Tierra Briscoe Wellness is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items or rented equipment.
11. Communication
Primary communication before and during the retreat is conducted via WhatsApp. A group chat will be established as guests are confirmed.
Tierra Briscoe Wellness is not responsible for information missed due to a guest’s failure to join the WhatsApp group. Messages sent outside of WhatsApp may not receive a response.
12. Photography & Media
By participating in a sol RESET retreat, guests grant Tierra Briscoe Wellness and any engaged photographers irrevocable permission to use photographs, video, and other recordings of participants for promotional, educational, and commercial purposes, including social media and website use, without compensation.
Guests who have concerns about their likeness being used must notify Tierra Briscoe Wellness in writing prior to the retreat start date.
13. Complaints
Any issues or concerns must be raised with the retreat organizer during the retreat so they may be addressed in real time. Complaints submitted after the retreat has concluded will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at Tierra Briscoe Wellness’s discretion, but are not guaranteed resolution or compensation.
14. Privacy
Tierra Briscoe Wellness respects your privacy. Guest information is never sold or shared with third parties. Information collected is used solely for retreat operations and communications.
15. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. Any disputes arising from a sol RESET retreat booking shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Maryland.
16. Acknowledgment
This policy is acknowledged at the time of registration. Submission of a deposit or full payment confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined above. A signed copy of the retreat-specific Waiver & Terms of Participation is also required to complete your booking.
